Kyrgyzstan's death toll from novel coronavirus surpasses 1,100

Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. 5 new deaths, related to COVID-19 coronavirus infection were recorded in Kyrgyzstan's over the past 24 hours.

According to the latest report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, three people died in Osh Oblast of the country, one - in Naryn Oblast and one in the Bishkek city.

Novel coronavirus has claimed lives of 1,108 Kyrgyzstanis so far.

Kyrgyzstan reported on Saturday 470 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 51,490.

The Republican HQ has reported the recovery of 221 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 45,509.

Currently, 2,353 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 2,049 patients - at home.
