Kyrgyzstan’s deputy FM meets with head of German Economy in Central Asia

Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2021 . / Kabar / . Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Investments of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev met on Thursday with Head of the Delegation of German Economy in Central Asia Hovsep Voskanyan.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that Voskanyan informed about the activities of the office, ongoing projects, as well as plans to develop cooperation with the Kyrgyz side.

In turn, Artykbaev noted the intention of the Kyrgyz side to intensify cooperation with the Representative Office and expressed interest in using the capabilities of the Office to promote the potential of the republic among German companies.

The deputy minister highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation through joint activities, in particular, he proposed to hold the Kyrgyz-German Business Forum, which would contribute to the establishment of cooperation between the business structures of the two countries.

In this context, Artykbaev informed about the ongoing work on the establishment of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council, which aims to increase the Kyrgyz-German trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The sides agreed to hold a separate Kyrgyz-German Business Forum, to establish partnerships between the business associations of Kyrgyzstan and Germany.

Artykbaev and Voskanyan also agreed on the need for systematic, sustainable cooperation for the implementation of joint mutually beneficial projects.
