Bishkek, July 17, 2020 ./Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Ismailova held a meeting with experts in the field of health care, during which an information on the impact of COVID-19 on the human body was presented, the Government’s press service reported.
The meeting participants discussed issues, related to the pathomorphological confirmation of the impact of coronavirus infection on human body, making diagnoses and clinical aspects of treatment.
Given the latest international data on pathogenesis of the disease and descriptions of direct clinical cases in combination with pathomorphological study, it was decided to revise the current clinical protocol.
Cases previously coded according to ICD-10 "Community-Acquired Pneumonia J-18" (pneumonia without specifying the pathogen), are coronavirus infection, not confirmed laboratory (PCR result is negative or absent), but there is a clinic and confirmed radiologically.
At the end of the meeting it was accepted:
- to regularly and promptly review existing clinical guidelines and protocols for the treatment of COVID-19;
- the Ministry of Health was instructed to strengthen the work on implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for treatment of COVID-19 in practical health care, to train doctors of different specialties to manage patients with coronavirus infection, as well as to hold an online conference for a wide range of clinicians.
