Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2020. /Kabar/. Manas International Airport plans to resume regular domestic flights to Dzhalal-Abad and Batken, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said Friday.
The flight on the Bishkek - Batken - Bishkek route is scheduled to resume on Sept. 15, once a week on Tuesdays.
Also, it is planned to resume flights to the Bishkek – Dzhalal-Abad- Bishkek destination from Sept. 18, once a week on Fridays.
"Flights will be operated by Tez Jet airlines," the report says.
Kyrgyzstan canceled all international and domestic flights since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March and resumed domestic flights on June 5.
Later, on Aug. 7 the country has resumed air services with Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, and on Sept. 10 - with Kuwait.
Currently, work is underway to resume regular flights to Uzbekistan (Tashkent - Bishkek – Tashkent route) and to Kazakhstan (Almaty - Bishkek – Almaty).
