Kyrgyzstan’s Dzhalal-Abad city lights up country’s tallest New Year Tree

Osh, Dec.17, 2019 /Kabar/. The main New Year Tree of Dzhalal-Abad city, Dzhalal-Abad Oblast was lit up at the central square yesterday, Dec. 16, the press service of the Dzhlal-Abad Mayor’s Office said.

The ceremony of lighting the main tree of the city was attended by Dzhalal-Abad Mayor Murataly Tagayev, Speaker of the City Council Aibek Zholdoshev, pop singers, actors and local residents.

Currently, the New Year Tree in Dzhalal-Abad city is the tallest tree in Kyrgyzstan, its height is 28 meters.

This day, a festive event, concert program and various games and entertainment were organized for the people present.

Note that the New Year Tree in capital city of Bishkek amounts to 27 meters.
