Bishkek, Feb.20, 2020./Kabar/. Economic growth is ensured by all sectors of the economy, Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Sanjar Mukanbetov told reporters during a meeting of the board of the ministry for the year 2019.
Minister Mukanbetov told that by the end of 2019 macroeconomic and social stability was provided in the country, positive GDP growth rates were achieved. The real GDP growth rate was 4.5%, excluding the Kumtor field development companies - 3.8%.
Deputy Economy Minister Avtandil Alybayev added economic growth has been achieved in all major sectors of the economy, including: agriculture grew by 2.6%, industry by 6.9%, construction by 10.6% and services by 2.9%.
The main contribution to GDP growth was made by the industrial sector, whose contribution to GDP amounted to 1.27 percent points, with a real growth rate of 6.9 percent, mainly due to the growth of metal production at the enterprises developing the Kumtor deposit, as well as in the service sector.
According to the results of 2019, the Plan of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic was fulfilled by 88.4%.
