The state damage returted. As a result of the investigations of the State Committee for National Security, the damage caused to the state for more than 140 million soms ( $ = 69,46 Som) was repaid to the state.

According to data of the Committee, 2.15 million soms were transferred to the Single Deposit Account of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic on Aug. 10, 2018.

The total amount reimbursed to the state based on the results of the activities of the Security Committee in the fight against corruption since the opening of the deposit account amounted to 141 million 604 thousand soms.

Foreign trade. The volume of foreign trade of Kyrgyzstan for the first half of this year exceeded $ 3 billion 249.9 million.

According to the preliminary estimates of the National Statistics Committee, this indicator shows an increase in foreign trade by 17.1% compared to the same period in 2017.

The increase in the share of exports amounted to 2.7% and reached $ 811.8 million, while imports increased by 22.8%, which in the total amounted to $ 2 billion 438.1 million.

At the same time, the volume of foreign trade of Kyrgyzstan with the countries members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) for 6 months of 2018 amounted to $ 1 billion 116.4 million and grew by 4.9%.

The amount of exported goods from Kyrgyzstan to the EEU countries was $ 311 million, and imported from there to Kyrgyzstan - $ 805.4 million.

Privateer is better. The wage of workers in the state organizations in Kyrgyzstan is 1.7 times less than the monthly salary of employees of private organizations.

According to the National Statistic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, the average monthly nominal wage of one worker (excluding small businesses) in January-June of 2018 amounted to 15,665 soms and increased by 6.6%.

At the same time, its real size, calculated taking into account the consumer price index, increased by 4.2%. So, the wages of workers in the budgetary sphere amounted to 12 thousand 395 soms, and non-budgetary - 21 thousand 397 soms.

Only salary. About 72% of Kyrgyzstanis live for their income from work.

According to estimates of the National Statistics Committee, in the first quarter of this year, the nominal cash incomes of the population amounted to 95 billion soms and increased by 12% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

At the same time, real money incomes of the population increased by 8.5% compared to the first quarter of 2017.

Austria in focus. The Kyrgyz-Austrian business forum in the construction sector was held in Vienna on August 13-14, 2018, in which Kyrgyz entrepreneurs-members of "Zhash Ishkerler Association" and representatives of Austrian companies took part.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the forum the Austrian companies presented their projects in the field of production of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly construction materials and use of the latest innovative technologies in construction. Kyrgyz businessmen expressed interest in these projects. The sides discussed possible areas of cooperation in this area.

Business with USA. US trade representatives held a meeting with entrepreneurs and government officials of Kyrgyzstan. During the round table they told about the US program "General System of Preferences" (GSP).

Assistant US Trade Representative for Trade Policy and Economics Edward Gresser said that the program began to work since 1974 to establish and develop trade relations with developing countries. Today, Armenia, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, India, Mongolia, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan participate from the countries of the Eurasian continent.

Mutual trade. Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan reiterate their intention to bring the mutual trade to $ 1 billion.

In Astana, at the meeting of the Kyrgyz-Kazakhstan intergovernmental council, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziev expressed his opinion on the prospects for cooperation in the trade sphere between the republics.

"It is known that a promising and profitable direction in cooperation are trade relations. We consider it necessary to apply all effective mechanisms to bring the trade turnover between our countries to 1 billion dollars, taking into account the diversification of the range of goods turnover," Abylgaziev said.
