Average income in the Kyrgyz Republic. The sum of the average annual income of Kyrgyzstanis according to the latest estimates of the National Statistics Committee was 59.8 thousand soms (1USD = 69.84KGS) , which is 1.4 times higher than in 2013.
The study was conducted among families and workers of various farms on a selective basis.
“As in previous years, the most important source in the formation of cash income remains the income from labor activity, both in urban areas (78.3%) and in rural areas (63.1%),” the study says.
The second most important source in the formation of income of the population living in rural areas was the income from the sale of products of personal subsidiary farms, whose share decreased by 7.4%, reaching 16% of all income in 2017. In terms of social payments, the amount of transfers from 2013 decreased by 0.8% - from 17.2% to 16.4%.
At the same time, the cash expenditures of the population over five years increased from 33.2 thousand soms to 41.5 thousand soms. Of these, the majority (86%) goes to pay taxes and 6.9% for other needs.
Kuwaiti Bnk in the Kyrgyz Republic. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlan Abdrakhmanov, at a meeting with Minister of Finance of the State of Kuwait Naif Falah Al Hajraf, raised the issue of a new bank. Taking into account the chairmanship of Kuwait’s Minister of Finance in the Board of Directors of the Directorate General for Investments, it was suggested to consider the possibility of Kuwaiti’s participation in the creation of an Islamic bank in the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the agriculture, infrastructure, tourism, energy, health, and a number of other sectors were recognized as promising areas for cooperation for the two sides.
"Maimak" will work. By the decision of the interdepartmental commission, Manson Group LLC was recognized as the winner of the competition for the creation of an enterprise on Makmalzoloto Combine branch.
Three companies took part in the competition: Manson Group LLC, Shinkykyiuan Frunze LLC, Central Asian Metallcom LLC.
In order to increase employment and develop the region’s economy, it proposed: construction of a sports complex; construction of a water utility for irrigation; production of building materials from waste sand (brick, sand block, paving slabs); construction of a milk processing plant; construction of a greenhouse for growing vegetables; social assistance to the population of the area; training and professional development of enterprise employees from the local population.
Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC will enter into an investment agreement with the winner of the contest on joint activities within 30 calendar days (December / January). If the Winner refuses to conclude the Agreement, Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC has the right to conclude an Agreement with the participant following the Winner. At the same time, the guarantee fee of the Winner will be withheld by the organizer of the Competition - Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC.
Answer of National Bank. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic commented on the initiative of the State Financial Intelligence Service of the Kyrgyz Republic to request from all commercial banks information about the owners of accounts and cells.
The National Bank said that the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic defines the concept of “bank secrecy”, as well as the procedure for providing information containing information constituting banking secrets, which are aimed at ensuring the protection of information from unlawful disclosure.
Thus, bank secrecy is protected by the laws of the country, according to which financial institutions have no right to transfer / disclose information on deposits, accounts, banking operations, the financial position of their clients and other information if there are no legal grounds. At the same time, the regime of bank secrecy is not absolute, in certain situations defined by law, access to data may be granted to state authorities.
The procedure for providing such information is also determined by law. Information may be provided in accordance with the sectoral legislation, in our case, by the law “On the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, banks and banking activities”.
Modified banknotes. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic introduces new modified banknotes of Kyrgyzstan IV series with denominations of 20 and 5000 soms of 2016 sample, which have:
- A clearly defined portrait, made by the classical method.
- Element Mask. The word "som" appears on the light (only on the 5,000 som banknote).
The modified banknotes will act along with the previously issued banknotes of the national currency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
All banknotes of the national currency have the status of an official means of payment in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and are subject to mandatory acceptance as a means of payment, regardless of the year of issue.
Business and Facebook. At the initiative of Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov, a closed Facebook group was created for entrepreneurs.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, in this group there will be only real business representatives, experts, officials, representatives of civil society and other individuals who have the desire and potential to constructively discuss economic topics.
The minister said that, the experience of discussing the activities of the Ministry of Economy in social networks has shown sufficient effectiveness of this type of interaction. The group will necessarily include an employee of the ministry who will promptly respond to the discussions and requests.
Conditions for business. The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the business community, initiated a draft law “On introducing amendments to some legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic - to the laws “On Investments”, “On Arbitration Courts”, “On Mediation”.
The draft law was developed in order to improve the business environment in the Kyrgyz Republic by introducing a mechanism for resolving disputes between business entities with state bodies through the development of alternative mechanisms.
