Adviser of the Ministry of Economy Kylychbek Dzhakypov said that the issue of the sales of energy produced by small hydropower plants is being considered at all levels.
“We need to find the right side. Raising rates is not a solution. Now subsidies are being sought. It is also necessary to consider the effectiveness of the system itself, so that it is beneficial for the investor and the National Energy Holding,” he explained.
CCTS and Competitiveness. Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov met with Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (CCTS), Baghdad Amreyev. During the meeting, the issues of cooperation within the framework of the Turkic Council were discussed.
At the meeting, Pankratov noted that the countries of the CCTS have many common plans and goals in many areas in the field of cultural, humanitarian, trade, economic and investment cooperation, some of which, thanks to the efforts of the Secretariat of the Turkic Council, are already being implemented.
Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the regional cooperation is one of the most priority directions of foreign policy and foreign economic activity of the Kyrgyz Republic.

We consider it necessary for the Turkic Council countries to build relations as partners and not as competitors,” said Minister of Economy Oleg Pankratov at the 8th meeting of economy ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states (CCTS).
He said that the countries of the Turkic Council need to unite efforts in promoting mutual interests and opportunities.
Joint processing. The 8th meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Belarusian commission on trade and economic cooperation was held in Bishkek.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting of the Commission was chaired by Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Murashev and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Leonid Zayats.
The meeting was attended by members of the Kyrgyz and Belarusian commissions, as well as invited heads of ministries, departments and representatives of business communities.

According to deputy chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republi Suyuntbek Alikeev the construction works of the concentration plant are currently being completed at this enterprise.

Water resources. The water resources of Kyrgyzstan should become the “core” of the long-term model of the green economy, Kyrgyz Economy Minister Oleg Pankratov said at the Green Economy Forum held in Bishkek.
According to the minister, today the first draft of the Program for the transition to a green economy in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019-2023 has been prepared.
Germans and green economy. In Kyrgyzstan, there is a great potential for the development of a green economy, primarily in the field of renewable energy, ecotourism, agro-industry, waste recycling, etc, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kyrgyzstan Monika Iversen told at the Green Economy Forum in Bishkek.
She noted that Germany is ready to support Kyrgyzstan in this difficult process.
