Bishkek, Apr.1, 2020./Kabar/. For failure to comply with home quarantine, 8 residents of the village of Ysyk-Kul, Tyup region (Issyk-Kul Oblast) who had arrived from foreign countries, have been forcibly placed under observation, the press service of Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said on Wednesday.
Because of the violation the conditions of home quarantine in a state of emergency, Oblast Operational Headquarters decided to isolate all villagers to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
As of March 31, 107 cases of coronavirus infection were registered the Kyrgyz Republic. Three of patients infected have recovered.
From March 25 to April 15, a state of emergency is in force in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast and in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.
Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
