Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2018. / Kabar /. The epizootic situation of Kyrgyzstan on transboundary diseases is stable, director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety, Kalysbek Zhumakanov told reporters at Kabar News Agency.
He said that this is exactly the situation that creates conditions for the export of products.
“Trans-border diseases are those that are transmitted through migratory birds, cars, and even people. In addition, the epizootic situation of smallpox, plague, foot and mouth disease, and African plague has been stable for two years,” he said, noting that this is one of the conditions for improving the country's export potential.
The second condition, according to Zhumakanov, is the quality of the product, which is assessed by the laboratory.
“We have 19 laboratories in the country, 2 of them are national. They are located in the cities of Osh and Bishkek,” he added.
