Bishkek, Nov. 12, 2020. /Kabar/. Former Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan Kanybek Isakov died today, Nov. 12, the press service of the Education Ministry confirmed the information to Kabar News Agency.
According to some reports, Isakov was diagnosed with pneumonia.
Kanybek Isakov, 51, served as Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan from Sept. 11, 2019 till Oct. 14, 2020.
He is the author of numerous monographs, scientific and methodological guides, and publicist articles.
Isakov was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic. He also served as deputy of Osh City Council.
