The investigative service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic conducts pre-trial criminal proceedings on the fact of the illegal release of crime boss Aziz Batukaev from prison, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic..
As part of the pre-trial proceedings, on Aug. 20, 2019, former Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Indira Dzholdubaeva is charged of corruption and was notified of the suspicion of committing a crime. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek choose a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
Indira Dzholdubaeva served as prosecutor general from January 2015 till April 2018.
