Bishkek, Jan.15, 2020. /Kabar/. Heads of Aiyl Bank OJSC and RSK Bank OJSC said support and financing projects in agriculture, processing and industrial sectors will continue.
"The mission of Aiyl Bank is to support producers in rural areas and agriculture in general, including processing of products. In 2019, the loan portfolio was increased up to KGS 20 billion, the bank's assets reached KGS 30 billion. Meanwhile, the deposit base has grown by KGS 2 billion," Chairman of Ayil Bank Board Baktybek Shamkeyev said.

Jobs are also being created in the regions through a cluster approach. It supports the processing of animal products such as meat, wool and hides.
"The bank's credit policy is aimed at projects in the regions. If in 2018 large loans were directed to Bishkek or other cities, now we have made diversification for small and medium loans in rural areas to support small and medium businesses in the regions," Shamkeyev said.
He added Aiyl Bank continues to look for additional resources to expand lending in rural areas and to find export-oriented or import-substituting projects.
According to Chairman of the RSK Bank OJSC Board Azizbek Omorkulov more than KGS 8.4 billion of credit resources were issued in 2019 to support domestic producers, representing over 10,000 borrowers.

He stressed that most of these resources were directed to support the processing industry in the regions, and compared to 2018 the growth was 20%.
"As an example, an enterprise processing cotton and produces oil, which consumption of raw materials increased to 12,500 tons after financing. This enterprise buys raw from local agricultural producers.
The increase in the turnover of the enterprise accordingly increases the sown area. In addition, a wool processing plant will soon be opened. This will be a unique enterprise, the launch of which is expected within 3-4 months," Omorkulov said.
According to the chairman of the RSK Bank OJSC Board, funding for projects continues in regionsand cities, but the emphasis is on projects in rural areas.
"In addition, there is an active digitalization of banking activities and the transfer of all services to digital format. At present, about 40 thousand users can pay over 400 payments including state payments without living home,” concluded Chairman Omorkulov.
