Bishkek, June 22, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s State Service for Combating Economic Crimes (SSCEC, or Financial Police) conducts preventive raids to avoid overpricing.
According to the press service of the Police, measures are taken to prevent artificial overpricing of protective medical equipment.
"Currently, SSCEC employees are carrying out regular visits (raids) to pharmacies throughout the country. These raids are conducted for preventive purposes and to avoid overpricing of medical masks. In pharmacies where overestimation of cost is set, preventive talks are held," the report says.
The Financial Police urges pharmaceutical companies not to abuse the situation in the country.
