According to preliminary data, in January-March 2021, the volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods amounted to $ 1.4 billion, and decreased by 3.9% compared to January-March 2020, head of the Department of Economic Statistics and National Accounts of the National Statistics Committee of the republic Elvira Isenkulova told a press conference on Wednesday.
She added that export revenues decreased by 8.9% and imports - by 1.5%.
In January-March 2021, the volume of mutual trade of goods between the Kyrgyz Republic and member states of the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to $674 million and decreased by 5.3% compared to January-March 2020. Meanwhile, import supplies increased by 202%, and export supplies, on the contrary, decreased by 9.4%.
The largest share of mutual trade of the republic with EAEU member states fell to Russia - 68.6% and Kazakhstan - 29.5%.
