Bishkek, Oct.11, 2019 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade turnover, according to preliminary data, has amounted to KGS 4.4 million for January-August 2019, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee Azamat Orosbayev told during the press conference, held at the Committee.
According to his data, compared to the same period last year, there has been reduction by 4.6%, while exports increased by 10.8%, while import revenues, on the contrary, decreased by 9.2%.
“In January-August 2019, the volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with the EAEU member states amounted to KGS 1.7 billion. And compared to the same period of 2018, it decreased by 5.0%. At the same time, there was a decrease in both export supplies by 8.0% and import revenues - by 4.1%. The largest share of mutual trade of the republic with the EAEU member states was in Russia, its share is 60.8% and Kazakhstan - 36.9%,” Orosbayev added.
