Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade turnover makes more than $ 2 bln

Bishkek, June 11, 2019. /Kabar/. The foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan, according to preliminary data, amounted to more than USD 2 billion in January-April 2019, this has became known during the press conference at National Statistics Committee.

This indicator decreased by 2.4% compared to the same period of 2018.

At the same time, export increased by 7.1%, while import revenues decreased by 5.5%.

The volume of mutual trade between Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Economic Union member states in period January-April 2019 amounted to USD 741 million and increased by 1% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, there was a decrease in exports by 19.8%, while import revenues, on the contrary, increased by 8.7%.

The largest share of mutual trade of the Kyrgyz Republic was with Russia (60.2%) and Kazakhstan (38.2%).
