Bishkek, April 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . According to preliminary data, the gross domestic product in Kyrgyzstan in January-March 2021 amounted to more than KGS 118 billion, Deputy Chairman of the republic’s National Statistics Committee Azamat Orosbayev said during a press conference on Tuesday.
According to his data, it is less by 9.4% compared to the same period of 2020.
"Excluding enterprises for the development of the Kumtor deposit, the volume of GDP made about KGS 106 billion and decreased by 4.5%. The volume of industrial production amounted to more than KGS 73 billion and compared to January 2020 decreased by 17.9%,” the specialist said.
