According to preliminary data, in January-April 2021, a volume of Kyrgyzstan’s gross domestic product amounted to more than KGS 166 billion, head of the Department of Economic Statistics and National Accounts of the National Statistics Committee of the republic Elvira Isenkulova told a press conference on Wednesday.
According to her data, it is 3.8% less compared to the same period of 2020.
"Excluding enterprises for the development of the Kumtor deposit, the volume of GDP made about KGS 148 billion and decreased by 1.1%. The volume of industrial production was more than KGS 98 billion, and compared to 2020 decreased by 12%,” the specialist said.
