Bishkek, Jan.10, 2025. /Kabar/. The Sports Palace named after Kaba uulu Kojomkul in Bishkek hosted on Jan. 8-9 the national championship in Greco-Roman wrestling, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The competition was attended by 186 athletes from all regions of the country. The winners were awarded medals and diplomas from the Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
On Jan. 8, competitions were held in weight categories up to 55, 63, 72, 82, 97 kg, according to the results of which the following athletes won:
55 kg – Ulan Muratbek uulu;
63 kg – Doolotbek Choibekov;
72 kg – Yryskeldi Khamzaev;
82 kg – Bekzat Orunkul uulu;
97 kg – Melis Aitbekov;
60 kg – Akyl Sulaimanov;
67 kg – Razzak Beishekeyev;
77 kg – Yryskeldi Maksatbek uulu;
87 kg – Asan Zhanyshov;
130 kg – Murat Ramanov.
