Bishkek, June 25, 2022 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan's U-23 Greco-Roman wrestling team took the first place at the Asian Championship.
The Under-17 (U17) and Under-23 (U23) Greco-Roman, freestyle and women's wrestling championships began in Bishkek on June 19 and will end on June 26.
Wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan competed in 10 weight categories and won nine medals.
In the team event, the Kyrgyz team placed first with 205 points. Second place went to India, while Kazakhstan's Greco-Roman wrestling team took third.
The national Greco-Roman wrestling team has three gold and six silver medals:
1st place - Adilkhan Nurlanbekov (72 kg);
1st place - Akylbek Talantbekov (77 kg);
1st place - Beksultan Nazarbaev (82 kg);
2nd place - Nurmukhammet Abdullaev (60 kg);
2nd place - Ermek Kanybek uulu (63 kg);
2nd place - Amanat Samat uulu (67 kg);
2nd place - Azat Salidinov (87 kg);
2nd place - Daniyar Sherimbekov (97 kg);
2nd place - Erlan Manatbekov (130 kg).
