Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2020. /Kabar/. The Guarantee Fund of Kyrgyzstan restructured 300 guarantees worth KGS 500 million to help entrepreneurs during the coronovirus pandemic, Chairman of the Board of the Fund Malik Abakirov said at a briefing Tuesday.
According to him, the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance of the republic provide very favorable resources for commercial banks.
"For those who lacks collateral, banks provide or ask the Fund o issue a guarantee, in this regard, we have issued 42 guarantees for such situations in the amount of KGS 104 million, and the amount of loans exceeded KGS 270 million. Thus, we encourage entrepreneurs to come out without losses in such a difficult period," the chairman added.
