Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2020 /Kabar/. Good Neighbors International's in the Kyrgyz Republic handed over 20,000 (RT-PCR) testers to the Kyrgyz Health Ministry, the press service of the Organization reported on Tuesday.
The value of the humanitarian cargo is more than $19,000.
"This shipment is donated by BioSewoom, a medical device company, and Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, a charity organization, in cooperation with Good Neighbors International," the report said.
RT-PCR tests will be delivered to all regions of Kyrgyzstan for timely diagnosis of COVID-19.
Director of Good Neighbors International's in the Kyrgyz Republic Chun Hong Soo said in a statement that the humanitarian shipment from South Korea is a gesture of goodwill and friendship with the people of Kyrgyzstan. "We are all equally opposed to the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
Good Neighbors International has been assisting Kyrgyzstan with PPE, oxygen concentrators and medical masks to fight the virus since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
