Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry asks population not to panic regarding coronavirus spread rumors

Bishkek, Mar.10, 2020. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Health is asking citizens not to panic, its press service said.

The ministry is prudently introducing enhanced preventive measures to control the spread of coronavirus infections.

“Remember that unscrupulous pharmacists and bloggers earn on worrying citizens about their health and spreading rumors about coronavirus infection, while the irresponsible media are gaining an audience," the report says.

The messengers spread false information in order to create panic. The ministry asks to check any information about the coronavirus by hotline number 0312 32 32 02.

"Trust only official sources. All official information on coronavirus is available on the www.med.kg official website of the Health Ministry," the report says.
