Bishkek, May 14, 2022. /Kabar/. Last year, Kyrgyzstan’s largest number of cases of heart disease were recorded in its capital city of Bishkek, specialist of social statistics department of the National Statistics Committee of the republic Aigul Bakaeva said during a press conference on Saturday.
Thus, in 2021, 43% of patients who applied to medical institutions had hypertension, 16% - with ischemic heart disease and brain disease associated with cerebral circulation disorders.
The specialist added that the highest number of cardiovascular diseases per 100 thousand people was in Bishkek - 775 cases; in Issyk-Kul Oblast - 711 cases; in Batken Oblast - 614 cases; in Osh Oblast - 354 cases; in Talas Oblast - 479 cases; in Jalal-Abad Oblast - 506 cases; in Naryn Oblast - 538 cases.
