Kyrgyzstan’s interior ministry police registers 128 violations of electoral process

Bishkek, Nov. 15, 2021 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, as of 08:00 a.m. on Nov 15, registered 128 violations of electoral legislation during the preparation to the parliamentary elections in the country.

According to data of the ministry, since the beginning of the election campaign and to date, 28 crimes have been registered like bribery of voters, violation of the inviolability of private life, theft, hooliganism and others.

Also, 27 misconducts were registered like abuse of administrative resources, deestruction or damage to other people's property, theft in an insignificant amount.

In addition, 73 different materials are registered in the information log of the internal affairs bodies.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan calls on citizens to refrain from disseminating any provocative, deliberately false reports, on any facts of violations of electoral legislation.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not interfere in political processes, but in case of violations of law and order, the electoral rights of citizens, all facts are recorded and measures are taken in accordance with the current legislation, the ministry said.
