Kyrgyzstan’s Kabar and Emirates News Agency agree to boost cooperation

Bishkek, March 22, 2022 / Kabar/. Director of Kyrgyzstan’s Kabar News Agency Kubanychbek Taabaldiev and Executive Director of the Emirates News Agency (WAM) Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi met in Abu-Dhabi on March 21.

During the meeting the heads of two news agencies discussed the further cooperation, exchanging news, EXPO 2020, its achievements and outlined plans for future.

The director of Kabar Agency briefed about socio-political situation in the country, in particular Kyrgyz President’s policy, fighting corruption, GDP increase and many other developments in the country.

From his part, the head of WAM told the guests about the work of WAM, praised the work of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov in developing the country. “He is doing a good job,” he said.

The sides stressed the importance of work of news agencies and agreed to further continue to exchange news, especially the two countries’ achievements, results in economic development.

Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi said that the Arabian people are interested in sports, culture, tourism in Kyrgyzstan and proposed to publish business news and more materials about tourism, which will contribute to the development of this sphere in Kyrgyzstan. “The people need to know more about Kyrgyzstan,” he noted.

He also offered to write more materials about business industry, rules in doing business, so that the business people could know what is the legal environment is in Kyrgyzstan.

Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi invited Kabar News Agency to the 3-day Global Media Congress in autumn of 2022 in Abu Dhabi, where media representatives will discuss the future of the media industry.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation of Kabar News Agency get acquainted with the work of the Emirates News Agency.

Kyrgyzstan’s Kabar News Agency signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Emirates News Agency in February 2019 and the two agencies have been cooperating sucessfully.
