Kyrgyzstan’s athlete starts with victory at Judo World Championship

Bishkek, Oct.16, 2019. /Kabar/. Judoka from Kyrgyzstan Kubanychbek Aibek uulu started with victory at the Judo World Championship, the website of the International Federation of this sport reported.

The tournament, attended by three Kyrgyz athletes, is being held in Marrakesh( Morocco).

Kubanychbek Aibek uulu started with 1/16 finals, defeating Kazakhstan's Sherzod Davlatov in the weight category up to 60 kg. Now he will fight with Russian Khetag Batayev.

Kyrgyz judokas Asad Masabirov (73kg) and Adil Myrzayev (81kg) will also compete.

Masabirov will meet Mukhammad Zhumayev of Uzbekistan on the carpet, and Myrzayev - with winner of fight: Shuo Li (China) - David Karapetyan (Russia).
