Bishkek, May 15, 2021. / Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the launch of meat processing plant "Reina Kench" in Karakol.
The visit took place as part of the working trip of the president to Issyk-Kul Oblast of the country, his press service reported.
Zhaparov was informed about the activities of the enterprise, which aims to slaughter livestock, primary processing of meat and bringing finished products to the end consumer.
Construction of meat processing plant was launched in August last year. The production capacity of the enterprise is 500 heads of small cattle and 100 heads of cattle for slaughter per day.
The meat processing plant will directly purchase livestock from farmers in four regions of Issyk-Kul Oblast, which will provide a stable livestock market for cattle farmers in the region.
In addition, the enterprise has its own laboratory, which guarantees high environmental friendliness and safety of its products.
More than a hundred people, most of them locals, will be employed at the meat processing plant.
President Zhaparov toured the production shops of the meat processing plant and working facilities.
He stressed that supplying the population with high-quality agricultural products, by stimulating the processing industry, is one of the priorities of the state.
In addition, the Kyrgyz leader spoke with local residents who raised issues of reconstruction of internal roads, transformation of land plots, and support for the cultural sphere.
He also told about the planned socio-economic reforms, which will pay much attention to improving the welfare of citizens on the ground..
In conclusion, Sadyr Zhaparov got acquainted with a fair of cattle breeders and agricultural products, and talked with local entrepreneurs.
