Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2021. / Kabar /. The country's main New Year Tree was lit on the central Ala-Too square in Bishkek.
The event was attended by Mayor of the capital city Aibek Dzhunushaliev, chairman of the Bishkek city Council Kubanychbek Kongantiev, Vice Mayor of Bishkek Victoria Mozgacheva and the townspeople.
In his speech, the Bishkek Mayor congratulated the townspeople and guests of the capital on the upcoming New Year 2022.
“The Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the main square of the country has become our good New Year's Eve tradition. From this moment a unique holiday mood is created for all residents of Bishkek. There are only a few days left until the end of 2021. Everyone sums up the results of the year. We have something to say thank you to the outgoing year, we have managed to do a lot. I am sure that for each of us, our country and Bishkek, the new year will be filled with bright events, new achievements and successes. I thank every resident of Bishkek for their creative work, activity and love for their hometown,” he said.
