Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn to start producing safflower oil

Naryn, July 29, 2022. /Kabar/. During the meeting of Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn Oblast Governor Altynbek Ergeshov with local residents of Ak-Talaa region, it became known that safflower was planted on 400 hectares in the region.

The governor told the locals that a safflower oil plant will be built using funds from the Tenir Too Development Fund. Altynbek Ergeshov said that in the next years the area of safflower cultivation will be increased to 1000 hectares.

About 1.5 tons of safflower can be harvested from 1 hectare of land, and 300 kg of safflower oil can be obtained from 1 ton of harvest.
