Bishkek, March 26, 2021. / Kabar /. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan carried out on Thursday another intervention to maintain the exchange rate of the national currency – som (KGS), selling $43.7 million.
According to the website of the Bank, it is the fourth intervention since the beginning the year.
During the three months of 2021, the National Bank sold a total of $158 million: $45.7 million in January, $38 million and $30.6 million in February.
At present, the official exchange rate of the US dollar is KGS 84.8 per one dollar.
