Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2018 / Kabar /. The ceremony of hoisting the national flag of Kyrgyzstan is held in the Olympic village in PyeongChang (South Korea), the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports reported.
Representatives of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, coaches and sportsmen in winter sports took part in the ceremony.
At the opening ceremony of the XXIII Winter Olympic Games, which will be held on Feb. 9, Tariel Zharkymbaev will bear the national flag of Kyrgyzstan.
Two sportsmen participate in the Winter Olympic Games from Kyrgyzstan - Tariel Zharkymbaev and Evgeny Timofeev.
Yevgeny Timofeev will perform in slalom and giant slalom, and Tariel Zharkymbaev in the classic sprint.
