Bishkek, March 26, 2022 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan's national football team lost with 1:3 to Uzbekistan at the Navruz Cup-2022 international tournament taking place in Namangan, Uzbekistan on March 25-29.
Kyrgyzstanis Mirlan Murzaev opened the scoring at the 6th minute. The first half ended with a 1-0 score for Kyrgyzstan. In the second half, Uzbekistan’s Eldor Shomurodov equalized the score at the 64th minute. At the 54th minute Igor Sergeyev led the hosts ahead, and at the 89th minute after a corner Sergeyev made double - 3:1.
Four national teams take part in the tournament. In the 1/2 final of the Navruz Cup-2022 the Kyrgyz national team will face the national team of Uzbekistan. On the same day, the national teams of Tajikistan and Uganda will meet in another semi-final. Winners of the semifinals will play in the final of the tournament, and teams lost - in the match for third place.
The Navruz Cup-2022 is organized by the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
