Kyrgyzstan's new government sworn in

Bishkek, June 30, 2020 / Kabar /. Members of the new government of Kyrgyzstan, led by Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov, took part in the oath ceremony in the Parliament.

The ceremony was held with the participation of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

In his speech, the head of state expressed hope that the new cabinet could become the anti-crisis government that can fulfill the tasks with dignity and with great responsibility.

Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov congratulated the new members of the government on taking the oath and expressed confidence that they would successfully apply their knowledge and experience to the benefit of the country's development and the way out of Kyrgyzstan from the situation associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

On June 17, the Kyrgyz Parliament approved the program of activities, structure and composition of the Kyrgyz government, headed by Kubatbek Boronov.

Earlier, Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev resigned in connection with allegations of corruption in the sale of radio frequencies.
