Kyrgyzstan’s number of recoveries from coronavirus reaches 161,450

Bishkek, Aug. 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan’s total number of recoveries from COVID-19 coronavirus infection has climbed to 161,450 on Friday.

According to the latest report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, another 656 patients with coronavirus have cured in the last 24 hours.

The country reported on Friday 468 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total count of infections to 171,238.

The death toll rose to 2,433 with 7 new deaths recorded in the past day.

Currently, 2,283 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 3,668 patients - at home.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29 after receiving Chinese donated vaccine. In, addition, the Central Asia country received Sputnik V vaccine in April and Astra Zeneca and QazVac vaccines in July.

In total, Kyrgyzstan has administered 571,656 doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
