Kyrgyzstan's number of recoveries from COVID-19 reaches 98,000-mark

Bishkek, May 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan's total number of recoveries from COVID-19 coronavirus infection has reached 98,000-mark on Saturday.

The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 458 more recoveries from the respiratory disease were reported in the past day.

Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 tally amounted to 104,222 after registration of 356 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The HQ said that a total of 5,340 laboratory tests have been conducted in the country over the past day.

The death toll from coronavirus climbed to 1,797 after 9 new virus-related deaths were recorded.

Meanwhile, 1,688 people remained hospitalized with 90 in intensive care, and 1,714 patients are receiving treatment at home.

Kyrgyzstan has started its COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29, using Chinese vaccines.
