Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city lights up New Year Tree

Osh, Dec.25, 2019. /Kabar/. The ceremony of lighting the main New Year Tree of Osh city was held Tuesday, Dec. 24 at the central square of the city. Its height is 27 meters.

Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov, local officials, citizens and youth took part in lighting ceremony.

Mayor Sarybashov congratulated the citizens on the coming year, and said festive evening events will be organized in the central square until Dec. 31.

Then a concert program with the participation of local pop stars, disco, fireworks and many other things was organized for the local residents and youth.

Currently, the New Year Tree in Dzhalal-Abad city, Dzhalal-Abad Oblast is the tallest tree in Kyrgyzstan, its height is 28 meters.

Note that the New Year Tree in capital city of Bishkek amounts to 27 meters.
