Osh, Feb. 11, 2022 . / Kabar /. Mayor of Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city Almaz Mambetov held on Thursday a meeting with representatives of the Turkish Fund Gaye, headed by its Chairman Mehmet Siddik Akshit.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Sultan Rayev.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for the development of bilateral relations, including prospects for the implementation of joint investment projects, particularly in the development of socio-economic and spiritual ties of the cities of Turkic-speaking countries.
In his welcoming speech, Almaz Mambetov drew special attention to the significant tourist opportunities of Osh city within the population of many millions in the Fergana Valley, especially after Osh city was granted the status of "The Great Silk Road Provider".
The sides also debated cooperation issues in the development of medical tourism, education, digitalization and attraction of investments. At the end of the event, they expressed readiness to develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
