Osh, July 29,2019./Kabar/. The “Cultural Festival in Ancient City of Osh” took place in the ethnographic complex Alymbek-Datka in Osh yesterday, July 28.
The opening ceremony of the Festival was attended by representatives of the social development department of the Osh Mayor’s Office, executive director of the Youth of Osh Public Association Akmaral Satinbayeva, executive director of the New York Folklore Society Ellen McHale, chairman of the City Committee on Youth Affairs Izzatbek Berhmamatov, representatives of partner organizations.
“The Cultural Festival in Ancient City of Osh" is a great, bright and joyful event, where residents and guests of the city were able to immerse themselves in the culture of the peoples living in Kyrgyzstan, take part in various cultural, sports and entertainment events and games, and participate in a wide concert program with contests and gifts.
The presentation of the media works of the Cultural Bridge project participants on the cultural peculiarities of the peoples living on Kyrgyzstan’s was also held.
More than 1000 people took part in the Festival.
