Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2019. /Kabar/. Education is the key to a prosperous country, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev said at the opening of the Umarov Secondary School in Tepe-Korgon rural county, Aravan region of Osh Oblast, the Government’s press service said Thursday.
“Today, education is the greatest wealth in the world. Without education, a person will not be able to succeed, to realize himself as a person. From the first days of school children should be instilled love for learning, desire to develop their country, native village or city, having received a quality education," the prime minister said.
Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev noted this year about 400 social facilities are being built throughout the country, of which more than 100 are educational institutions.
"All these facilities have been built to the same standards, with all the conditions. But, I would like to note another thing. Construction of a school means practically nothing if the school has no content, i.e. quality education. Teachers have a huge role to play here. It depends only on you what kind of education our children will receive. Now, in the age of information technologies, children mostly get information from the Internet. I hope that the teachers will actively use in their work the latest achievements of our era and easily answer any questions from pupils, " the head of the government stressed.
The construction of the Umarov Secondary School, designed for 225 pupils, began in 2014 at the expense of the national budget under the “Capital Investment” item.
The cost of the object is KGS 40.5 million.
During the two days of his working trip to south of Kyrgyzstan- to Osh and Dzhalal-Abad Oblasts, Mukhammedklayi Abylgaziev will take part in the opening of a number of social facilities, get acquainted with the progress of construction of infrastructure and industrial facilities.
He is also expected to meet with local residents to discuss the pressing problems of the region.
