Kyrgyzstan’s PM takes part in EIGC meeting

Almaty, Jan.31, 2020. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev is taking part in the regular narrow format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC) in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Then, the meeting of the Council will be held in extended format.

Before the beginning of the meeting, a welcoming ceremony for heads of delegations was held, as well as joint photographing.

Kyrgyzstan’s delegation consists of:

Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev,

Deputy Prime Minister Jenish Razakov,

Minister of Economy Sanjar Mukanbetov,

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan Jeenbek Kulubayev,

First Deputy Head of the Government’s Office Bolot Dzhunusov,

Adviser to the PM Kubatbek Rakhimov,

Adviser to the PM on a pro bono basis Eduard Turdaliyev,

Chairman of the State Customs Service Altynbek Torutayev,

Special representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) affairs Almaz Sazbakov,

Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Government Office Aibek Aidarbekov,

Head of the Digital Transformation Department of the Government Office Munirs Tynystanova.

14 issues are expected to be discussed at the EIGC meeting, including those related to the elimination of barriers in the framework of the functioning of the domestic market of the EAEU, the execution of previously given orders, the formation of an ecosystem of digital transport corridors, work on the draft Agreement on the regulation of the alcohol market in the framework of integration association, improvement of mechanisms for the use of special protective, anti-dumping and compensation measures taking into account international rules and regulations.
