Kyrgyzstan’s revenues in 2018 amounted to 135.4 bn soms – Minister of Finance

Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2019. /Kabar/. In 2018, revenue was projected at 141.5 billion soms, however, by the end of the year, revenues amounted to 135.4 billion soms, and about 6 billion soms were not received, Minister of Finance Baktygul Jeenbaeva told during a meeting of the Committee for Budget and Finance of the Jogorku Kenesh.

She said that the budget plan was executed at 95.7%.

MP Ziyadin Jamaldinov indicated that the plan for tax collection in the amount of 2.3 billion soms, customs duties – 1.8 billion, transfers – 1.9 billion soms, the State Property Fund – 200 million soms was not fulfilled and asked about the reasons for non-fulfillment of the budget plan.

Vice Prime Minister Zamirbek Askarov noted that the plan was optimal. “All measures were taken to implement the approved plan, unfortunately, it was not realized,” he added.

Deputy Kubanychbek Nurmatov drew the attention of representatives of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to the smuggling of petroleum products into the republic. “This is about 20 thousand tons of oil products. You have this information, but you are not taking effective measures to prevent smuggling,” the deputy added.
