Kyrgyzstan's Security Council reshuffled

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov has signed on Saturday a Decree relieving Damir Sagynbayev from the post of Secretary of the country's Security Council.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, by another Decree of Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Omurbek Suvanalaiyev has also been dismissed from the post of the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council.

Suvanaliyev has been replaced by Zhanybek Kaparov.

From Nov. 5, 2015 to May 11, 2016 Kaparov, 50, served as Chief of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces.
