Bishkek, Oct.28, 2019 /Kabar/. The Department of Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, using the Road Show method of promotion, began to present the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan in the Arab countries with the participation of representatives of domestic tourism business.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Culture reported that the Department presented tourism potential in Sharjah, UAE.
More than 30 leading companies from the UAE were invited to the meeting.
Companies from the UAE and Kyrgyzstan held business to business meetings. Also, Kyrgyzstan’s deputy minister of culture, information and tourism presented information on the tourism potential of the country for all participants of this road-show.
During the next four-day working visit, meeting with representatives of the tourism industry of Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman is expected. B2B meetings with the tourism business of the above mentioned countries will be held to further establish contacts.
This event is organized by the Department of Tourism with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Dubai, UAE, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kuwait, the Air Arabia International Airline, as well as UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic.
