Kyrgyzstan’s Track and Field Indoor Championships comes to end in Bishkek

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2021. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Track and Field Indoor Championship took place on Jan. 14-15 at the arena of the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports (Bishkek).

The competition was held among boys and girls (born in 2004-2005) and among men and women (born in 2003 and older), the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan said.

About 240 from six oblasts of the republic (Chui, Talas, Osh, Dzhalal-Abad, Issyk-Kul, Batken) and the cities of Osh and Bishkek took part in the competition.

The participants competed in the following disciplines: shot put, high jump, long jump and running for 60, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000 meters.

Winners of 1,2,3 places were awarded diplomas and medals of the appropriate degree of the Directorate of Olympic Sports.
