In January-August 2024, the volume of foreign and mutual trade of the Kyrgyz Republic in goods amounted to USD 10.6 billion and increased by 9% compared to the same period of last year, First Deputy Chairwoman of the National Statistics Committee Nazira Kerimalieva said at a briefing on Friday.
The specialist added that export supplies increased by 13.1 percent, import receipts - by 8.1 percent.
“The volume of mutual trade with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January-August 2024 amounted to USD 3.2 billion and increased by 8.8 percent compared to January-August 2023. The largest share of the republic's mutual trade for this period came from Russia 71.2% and Kazakhstan 26.9%,” Kerimalieva noted.
