Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2024 . / Kabar / . Trade of Kyrgyzstan with countries of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has increased by almost 62% in recent years, Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Zhaparov said Wednesday during the 11th Summit of OTS in Bishkek.
He assured that during the chairmanship Kyrgyzstan will make efforts to effectively use the opportunities of multilateral partnership.
"Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to mutual economic cooperation. We are ready to work on such topics as promotion of joint international initiatives, implementation of projects in strategic sectors.
In order to expand trade and economic cooperation, I urge you to make efforts to develop a document aimed at increasing capital investments, exchange of manufactured goods and services in the markets.
Meanwhile, negotiations on intergovernmental agreements will be initiated in a number of areas such as services, finance, creation and maintenance of common labor markets, digital technologies, e-commerce, intellectual property, agriculture, technology, innovation, tourism and education," Zhaparov said.
In this context, the Kyrgyz leader said he fully supports the signing of the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, which will contribute to the development of digital trade between Turkish states.
