Kyrgyzstan’s Tynybekova earns quota for 2020 Tokyo Olympics

Bishkek, Sept.19, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Aisuluu Tynysbekova has reached the finals of the World Wrestling Championship.

The tournament is taking place in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

In the semifinals, in the weight category up to 62 kg, Tynybekova defeated athlete from North Korea Yong Sim Rome.

In the quarterfinals Tynybekova defeated Ukrainian athlete Julia Tkach (9:6). In her first fight, Kyrgyzstani won Alejandra Romero Bonilla of Mexico with a score 8-0, and in the 1/8 final, Tynybekova defeated Yukako Kawai of Japan.

Having reached the semifinals, Tynybekova won a license for the Tokyo Olympics.

Previously, Atabek Azisbekov, a Greco-Roman wrestler, Yulia Andreyeva, track and field female athlete and swimmer Denis Petrashov also won a license for the Olympics.
